Supporting The Arts

We've sponsored a podcast!

Get Around To It

The reasons for this are many. Aoife Barry and Lauren Murphy are two arts journalists I've admired for many years. They've interviewed some incredibly famous people over this time and so decided to host "Get Around To It". It's a culture podcast that focuses on TV, film, music and books. Who doesn't like at least one of those areas?

The guys have been doing this in their own time for free so we were really happy to sponsor them. They've had some really great guest interviews thus far including Neil Hannon, Alison Spittle and Jarlath Regan among many others. They also interviewed me and you can find the link here.

For a podcast to become successful it needs followers. Advertisers then take notice. We'd ask you all to help with this by following and listening if you can. Journalism is a very tough gig these days and your support will help keep the lights on and ensure the guys can continue to make this genuinely interesting show.Thank you!

Foggy Notions Partnership

Foggy Notions is an independent music company promoting and curating events with an emphasis on original and innovative artists who shape music culture, past, present and future. If you're a music fan or regular gig goer, you'll no doubt be very familiar with them.

We got to know Leagues and David of Foggy Notions during Covid and since then we've done a number of collaborations with them, including putting band names on coffee bags sold at gigs with 100% of all proceeds going to the artist. Things have moved on somewhat, so we're now taking this opportunity to announce a more formal partnership with
Foggy.

Foggy Notions members receive exclusiv eaccess to pre-sales for many shows and opportunities to apply for free tickets for upcoming concerts every week. If you're nterested you can sign up here for just €3.99 per month - https://foggynotions.ie/register
